Voices and the stories they tell have been the heart of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation since 1936. This is the idea behind the 2021 CBC Mountain Waves design. Leveraging the iconic Rocky Mountains of Alberta along with the colour of the seasons — this landscape of change gives way to the duo iconography of the soundwave. This is the powerful voice we all have inside of us, able to influence and change the world we live in for the better.

Mountain Waves is a limited edition canoe paddle made from legal, certified and sustainable wood in Canada. Measuring 60” in length, the paddle can be used on the water but best put on display in your home, cottage/cabin or place of work to preserve its quality and value as a collectible item.
