Canoe Paddles Are Steeped in Canadian History
The canoe paddle has a storied past that harkens back to early explorers who navigated through uncharted waters of our great nation. Their courageous, undaunted spirit overcame physical obstacles, mental doubt and unknown dangers with each stroke that propelled them towards their unwavering goal. It is has been said that Canadians are born with a canoe paddle in their hand and many will attest to the magical memories forged over the years on the lakes, rivers and open waters across Canada. In the words of one of our greatest prime ministers: "Paddling a canoe is a source of enrichment and inner renewal.”—Pierre Trudeau. We invite you to explore our collection of Canadiana inspired paddles to memorialize your own journeys and shared adventures. Use them to canoe or as decor in your cottage, home or office—makes for a great gift idea too!

The HIP are one of Canada’s most iconic bands whose lyrics were influenced by our unique landscape and history. Three Pistols (Road Apples) recalls The Group of Seven's Tom Thomson who died on Canoe lake while Looking for a Place to Happen tells the story of Jacques Cartier: “I have a job, I explore…”. A commemorative paddle dedicated to The Tragically Hip is a fitting tribute to the band and fans of Canadian music everywhere.
