Canoe Paddles Are Part of Canada’s Story

Few objects are as closely tied to Canada as the canoe paddle. It helped early explorers, settlers, and adventurers navigate the lakes, rivers, and wild landscapes that shaped this country. With every stroke came resilience, determination, and the spirit to forge a new path. That spirit still resonates today.

For many Canadians, the paddle also represents something deeply personal—camping, family cottages, first casts, early mornings on the dock, and memories made on the water.

Our handcrafted Canadian canoe paddles honour both that national heritage and those personal traditions. Proudly made in Canada, they’re designed to be enjoyed on the water or displayed as meaningful décor in your cottage, home, cabin, or office. They also make a uniquely Canadian gift worth giving—and keeping.

Few bands are woven into the fabric of Canada like The Tragically Hip. Their music captured our landscapes, our stories, and the uniquely Canadian spirit that connects people from coast to coast. This commemorative paddle honours that legacy through references to songs shaped by Canadian history and place—from Three Pistols and the story of Tom Thomson, to Looking for a Place to Happen and the journey of Jacques Cartier. Crafted as a meaningful tribute to one of Canada’s most beloved bands, this paddle is made for fans of The Hip, collectors of Canadiana, and anyone proud of the music and stories that help define this country.
